Chief Todd Stockburger started with the Winnebago Police Department as a part time officer in 1999 and was promoted to Chief of Police in 2003.  Prior to 'Bago PD, Chief Stockburger served with the Rockford Airport Police and the Winnebago County Dispatch Center.  Chief graduated from Winnebago High School and earned degrees from Rock Valley College and Northern Illinois University.

He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy.  As Chief, he enjoys running a "tight ship" and working with some of the finest people in law enforcement.  When he isn't at work, which isn't very often, he enjoys running, playing racquetball, and spending time with family and friends.
